Celtic Festival. (6/23/2006 - 9/02/2006) Each year The College of Piping presents a 10-week concert series held each Monday through Thursday evening. The cultural showcase features piping, drumming, Scottish Highland dancing, step dancing, fiddling, singing, and storytelling. The season launches with three-day Summerside Highland Gathering. Many other special events and mini concerts dot the schedule and compliment free guided tours. 39th annual Charlottetown Festival. (6/23/2006 - 10/1/2006) Since 1965 more than 65 new Canadian musical theatre productions have been developed and showcased during the summer-long festival venue.
